Globetrotters Legal Services

A LEADING IMMIGRATION AND CORPORATE LAW FIRM IN AFRICA

About Us

We are Globetrotters Legal
We are a licensed law firm incorporated under the laws of Ghana. With our headquarters in Accra, we are homegrown in Africa, with an international reach. We take pride in our expertise of understanding the African business landscape. We do this by putting our core values into action, rooting our business decisions in legal understanding and basing our targets on what is needed to solve each client’s problem. Using up to date technologies and case management systems, our top notch lawyers and affiliates who are licensed to practice law in several African countries provide exceptional services for fortune 500 companies in fields such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Agri-Business, Finances, Governmental, NGOs among others on legal transactions pertaining to Africa.

OUR CORE VALUES

Quality

The client is our boss, quality is our work and value for money is our goal. GT Legal is dedicated to the highest quality in all the work we do. Quality is the uncompromising standard for our actions, and it flows from our passion and our pride in being part of the GT Legal community. Quality work, which results from our personal efforts, is the first ingredient of quality brands and the source of our reputation for high standards. At GT Legal, the standard is very simple: put yourself in the position of the client, and if you will not be happy with what you are going to give him/her, do not give it to them .

Responsibility

As individuals, we demand total responsibility from ourselves; as Associates and a firm, we support the responsibilities of others. We choose to be different from those firms where many levels of management dilute personal responsibility. All Associates are asked to take direct responsibility for results, to exercise initiative and judgment and to make decisions as required. By recruiting ethical people well suited to their roles and trusting them, we ask Associates to be accountable for their own high standards .

Mutuality

A mutual benefit is a shared benefit; a shared benefit will endure. We believe that the standard by which our business relationships should be measured is the degree to which mutual benefits are created. These benefits can take many different forms, and need not be strictly financial in nature. Likewise, while we must try to achieve the most competitive terms, the actions of GT Legal should never be at the expense, economic or otherwise, of others with whom we work. You help your client; your client helps you. We stay with our clients through that entire crisis - all of them; and they stay with us.

Efficiency

We use resources to the full; waste nothing; and do only what we can do best. How is it possible to maintain our values and principles, offer superior value for money and share our success? Our strength lies in our efficiency, the ability to organize all our assets – physical, financial and human – for maximum productivity. In this way, our services are made and delivered with the highest quality, at the least possible cost, with the lowest consumption of resources; similarly, we seek to manage all our business operations with the most efficient processes for decision making. Being able to act, to make lasting improvements, is a pleasure. It is satisfying to know that we help make things work better .

Corporate Social Responsibility

At Globetrotters Legal, we realise that we have a broader social purpose. This drives our interaction with society, the environment and our corporate social responsibility programmes. GT Legal focuses on supporting projects which are both sustainable and contribute to society and our bottom line. In simple terms, instead of merely giving people fish, we emphasise on teaching people how to fish. We desire to touch and improve the lives of our community in a more concrete and tangible way. To be effective, we identify beneficiaries of our CSR programmes, come up with unique concepts and communicate those concepts with our employees, partners and the society. Some of our programmes include:

  • Probono: “Street Law” and “Law Clinic” As part of our objectives to promote access to justice, access to legal information, and helping our local communities, we look to utilise our expertise, skills, and resources to meet with our communities, and support them at the point of their needs.

  • Charity: We come together as a business to support charity work. We donate to orphanages and support other vulnerable groups that need our help.

  • Access to Information: We endeavour to simplify complex legal information for the consumption of ordinary people in our local communities. Our Value Added Service also helps to achieve this end.

  • Environment: We embark on waste management campaigns to create awareness and contribute by improving our performance in respect of the environment and managing the effect of our actions.

  • Marketplace: Our objective here is to treat everyone, employees and clients, with utmost dignity and fairness; and create equal opportunities for all in our interactions with them.
